We are truly saddened to hear Logan Doviken has died. He was a great man, beloved Uncle, and patriarch of the Doviken family. Our thoughts and prayers to Pat and all the children. He was one of a kind!!! From going out on Poppy's boat, to riding in the back of the van along with him and his "pet snake" we found slithering out of his golf bag when we visited Brooksville. Also on that trip was the infamous beer theft when he came in to our condo and I was watching the World Series and lil' Paulie was screaming his head off, Uncle Log came in for 3 minutes and said "well "99" it looks like you got your hands full here, where's big Paulie"?
Logan "whitey" doviken
Also famously quoted "none of us can drink with Tootsie" I will never forget the time we arrived at Eagles Landing and he exited Paulie's truck covered in his coffee "99, the last thing Aunt Pat said to me "was don't get anything on your shirt until you take the group picture" He was very good to me and my family and treated us like his family. I will forever miss our sneaking away from the OCMD crowd and sit together to watch a couple of holes of the British Open.
During that time we would talk about golf and his beloved golfers Dougie, Drew and Scottie.
We talked about their game his and mine. A time I will never forget and cherish. I was extremely happy he got to meet one of my son's and I will pass along stories of the Whiteman to Jack. God bless you, The Ronne's.
Logan Doviken. I have known Logan for about years now, since I ed the fantasy baseball league "Broken Bats". Over the years our friendship has always been 'computer based', up until about 3 years ago when we decided to take a family cruise out of Tampa.
Logan found out we were going to be in town and he and Pat insisted that we stay at their guest house. We had the chance to meet both Logan and Pat and other friends from our fantasy baseball league, and we were treated like royalty the whole time we were with them!
At that time I knew I had a friend for life. Pat even mailed us pictures a couple of weeks after our trip so we would remember that special weekend with them.
Pat - We are so sorry to hear of Logan's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Logan was a great man, and he will be dearly missed by so many who loved him. God bless! After visiting him in the rehab, We thought that he would shortly be home.
But he IS home, right?
God gave you both 30 years of happiness. Now he is happy in Heaven with God. We are sorry that we cannot be with you, but know that we are with you in spirit.
